Every year, the Digital Humanities community comes together to blog about what a typical DH research does in a day. This year, the Day of DH falls on Friday 8th April. In advance of this, the DH team at TCD hosted a ‘Day of DH’ coffee morning on Thurs 7th April.
Marta Bustillo from DRIS explains the issues involved with preparing a collection for ingestion into the Digital Repository of Ireland.
As well as giving researchers in TCD the excuse to eat delicious pastries, the coffee morning featured talks from four projects within TCD:

- Alfredo Maldonaldo, ADAPT
As part of the Europeana Cloud Project, the team at TCD (comprising Dr. Jennifer Edmond and Vicky Garnett) have been part of a group investigating user requirements. Part of this work over the past few months has involved looking into potential topics for research, and how Europeana might help to address questions within that topic. The purpose of this was to see what use Europeana could be to researchers, and what further resources or services it might need to include in order to make the platform more useful to a researcher in that particular field.
