Jonathan Grimes (who completed the MPhil in 2012) and Séamus Lawless (from CS at TCD who lectures on the MPhil) had a paper accepted for Digital Humanities 2013 (DH2013) entitled ‘Linked Data for Music Collections: A User-Centred Approach’. The paper which discusses the synergies between linked data and traditional metadata for music is based on Jonathan’s MPhil thesis.
The DH2013 conference, which will take place in the University of Nebraska–Lincoln, USA, from 16-19 July 2013, is one of the major conferences within Digital Humanities, and attracts leading experts in the field from around the world. Acceptance for a paper at this conference is a wonderful opportunity for Jonathan, and a chance for him to network with highly-respected academics and practitioners within Digital Humanities.
Well Done Jonathan!
