Up for early Mass. Very disappointed
not to get any post hoping at least
for one from Tommy.
It was a lovely day so was able to
go out in the garden without coat
The crocusses are coming out everything
promises to be very early.
Had a very small lunch party
Beatrice being away & Violet on duty
The boys went over to the Castle to
have tea with Bunto & William but
Andrew was rather indignant — he
only got invite to drinks.
I had a visit from Rita & Jack,
both looking very well, they would not
stay for tea as they had to get back
to the Baby. They reported a fog
in town.
Wrote a long letter from Marie
I hope to get one from her tomorrow
Have a splendid fire of wood to go
in the new Drawingroom grate.
Will now say good night to resume
to—morrow.
