Got up after tea feeling better.
Letter from Thomas dated March 26th.
Still at Alexandria but expecting to be
moved shortly. Said he heard Corbet
Singleton was at Cairo & was sorry he
did not know when he was up there.
Capt Arnold 6th R.D.F. is with them
but has no later news of you.
He hoped to get out as far as Aboukir
He enclosed a photo of four of his pals
& himself which is not too bad.

Thomas Patrick Martin
Born on St. Patrick’s Day, 17 March 1891 and died in 1954, Thomas Shannon Patrick was Mary Martin's son and was known in the family as Tommy. He served in the 5th Battalion of the Connaught Rangers, a famous Irish regiment of the British Army but survived the war. Alexandria
