Tackled the oranges again & prepared
more for Marmalade which will be
boiled tomorrow.
Aunt Eveleen arrived this afternoon
looking quite herself again. She is
occupying your room. She had a
letter from Aunt Lily who is flourishing
but having a lively time with Maltese
servants as she is at present House
Sister & has to housekeep. The pantry
boy got drunk & very obstreperous,
she was very nervous she would get
a knife into her.
Strange to say we had a visit from a
nurse from Malta – home on holidays
Miss Flynn she was at St Georges
with Marie & promised her to come to
see us. She is the nurse who nursed
Mr Marrogh at Torquay she was very
pleasant & gave us a good description
of Malta.
Miss Hickie Maurice O'Connell's
cousin came to dinner but she & Ethel
went off to the Convent at Temple Hill
immediately after.
