Opening of the retreat so went to
12 oc Mass & heard the sermon
from Fr Whelan Redemptorist.
Uncle Tom & Aunt Florrie came
out for tea. He brought me a letter
he had from The O’Mahony who has
a good many friends in Bulgaria
as he owns a lot of land there.
He says he will write to a friend in
Bucharest who will communicate with another
in Sofia to look you up & do what
he can for you if he can find you.
Of course it will take some time 4 or 5
weeks before we can hope to hear, in
the meanwhile D.V 1 we shall get
news of you.
Uncle Tom is very irate – about the
Motor Tax & petrol question 2 but
particularly with the Automobile Club
for some circular they sent out.
All going out to evening sermon.
Goodnight.
Wrote to the O Mahony giving him
all particulars.
