The Higher Education Authority (HEA) has announced a new Government of Ireland funding scheme to support students from non-EU/EEA countries who wish to study for one year at Bachelor’s, Master’s or PhD level in Ireland.

Students who are successful will receive:

  • A €10,000 stipend for one year’s study
  • A full fee waiver of all tuition and other registration costs at the higher education institution

Government of Ireland International Education Scholarships Programme scholarship are awarded to high calibre students from non-EEA countries to study in Ireland for a period of one year.  The deadline for applications by students is 17.00 Irish time on Friday 25 March 2022.

In the Centre for Digital Humanities, we are particularly thrilled with this news, as it opens up the opportunities for those outside the European Economic Area (EEA) who are considering applying to the MPhil in Digital Humanities and Culture programme, or to join us for their PhD.  For more information, please visit this page.
