{"id":1990,"date":"2019-10-09T15:11:04","date_gmt":"2019-10-09T14:11:04","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/dh.tcd.ie\/dh\/?p=1990"},"modified":"2020-04-28T20:10:17","modified_gmt":"2020-04-28T19:10:17","slug":"prof-jennifer-edmond-launches-new-training-materials-at-the-parthenos-impact-event-in-rome-italy","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/dh.tcd.ie\/index.php\/2019\/10\/09\/prof-jennifer-edmond-launches-new-training-materials-at-the-parthenos-impact-event-in-rome-italy\/","title":{"rendered":"Prof. Jennifer Edmond launches new training materials at the PARTHENOS Impact Event in Rome, Italy"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The <a href=\"http:\/\/www.parthenos-project.eu\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" data-cke-saved-href=\"http:\/\/www.parthenos-project.eu\/\">PARTHENOS project<\/a>, a cluster-project that brings together knowledge and resources from Research Infrastructures and Humanities projects, has released the final additions to its Training Suite, with two new sub-modules and a collection of video case studies.\u00a0The latest additions to the PARTHENOS portfolio\u00a0were\u00a0launched on 4 October 2019 by Prof. Jennifer Edmond, Director of the Centre for Digital Humanities, at the PARTHENOS Impact Event held in Rome, Italy.<\/p>\n<p>The two new sub-modules, &#8220;Collections and Digitised Newspapers as Historical Sources&#8221;, written by Luxembourg and Swiss-based project <a href=\"https:\/\/impresso-project.ch\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" data-cke-saved-href=\"https:\/\/impresso-project.ch\/\"><em>Impresso<\/em><\/a> and &#8220;Digital Humanities and Heritage Research Infrastructures&#8221;, written by a multi-national team at the European Research Infrastructure for Heritage Science\u00a0(E-RIHS), have been added to the &#8216;anthology&#8217;
